Name of your website?

Author Bob D Caterino

Your name?

Bob D Caterino

Your Location (city, etc)

I have lived in Greenville , South Carolina for many years and love it here

When did you start your website and why?

I started doing my website for one reason, so fans can read stories I have not placed in any books or articles on the web.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

My website offers you a variety of things. I post my short stories for everyone both members and guests browsing. These are things I wont post anywhere else. It is my way of giving back.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Nothing is easier. When you do something you love to do it is easy as pie. The only thing is I usually eat the pie before I start creating.

What has been the easist past of operating your website?

Meeting new people has always been the icing on this cake. The easy part is the creative process.

Who maintains your website and why?

I maintain my webpages using html. If I get too busy to do it I would never leave it in the hands of someone. This would make it too impersonal.

Tell us how your business has benfited from your website?

I won't lie, I am in the business of selling books. I wont push anything on anyone. If they like what they see on my site then maybe they will buy a book or three. I indeed benefit as I watch my sales grow.

Tell us about your website

It is a simple webpage. I only have my name and enter on the front page. It opens to my link page which the seeker can decide which they want to go.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

ecommerce is a growing business on the net. People as I recall, you know, the experts said the internet was dead a few years back. Well, it is booming now isn't it?

What are your views on SEO?

I can't answer this question unless someone tells me what SEO is

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

I would say they have helped me. I am all over google and all the others since they use google to find things theselves. It helped me and I am always in need of a hand. "Search engines, good."

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

I always found that just telling the truth about my work and putting my work out there is the best peomotions for me.

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

Instant messaging is a bad way to promote, and spam is not a good way to go either. Just use usual means to promote like this interview and using the web news papers and you will be fine. If anyone has to resort to tricks you will be found out and banashed from the WWW kingdom.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

I don't mind when webpages have ad's on them but if POP UP ADS would go away I would not shed a tear, they are a bad way to do business.

How many books have you written?

I have five in all and working on two more at the moment. I self publish them all on lulu.com, just search for them using my name Bob D Caterino in their search on the page.
