When did you start your website and why?
I began my website in 2003. I wanted to offer my services to others. The web was a great way to reach more people.

Reddi Business Solutions is the intelligent, cost-effective and efficient business strategy of the 21st century, specifically for businesses or individuals needing occasional office support. We are a Virtual Assistance Company that specializes in Word Processing, Desktop Publishing, Resumes/Cover Letters, Bookkeeping, Billing, Website Design and much more.
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
Making sure I keep it up to date. Making sure my specials are updated monthly.
What has been the easist part of operating your website?
Creating more information for my clients to review. I enjoy posting new information. I feel Like I am contributing.
What was your biggest mistake?
Underestimating the time and effort I would have to out into it.
Who maintains your website and why?
I maintain my own website. I feel as though since I offer web design it helps me stay on top of my web knowledge and as I learn more I apply that to my own site. I began leaarning web design by playing around with my own site and sites of friends. I become better and better every day. Plus I enjoy doing it. I feel like an artist when it is done.
Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?
It has allowed customers and potential customers the ability to view my work. I have gotten clients just based off my own site. Some of them were so impressed by my site that they have become a referral source. My site has shown people I am serious about my business.
What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?
I feel as though the internet has a great future. I see it as a tool for so much more. It has created the ability for many people to become self sufficient by selling goods and services that a lot of people cannot sell in person. It has given many consumers access to goods they wouldnt have been able to obbtain without it.
What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
I feel that it is a great tool to maximize a web presence. It creates more avenues to find what you are looking for. Also, on the flip side it can sometimes cause the ability for a search of pages that are a waste of time. Meaning if I am looking for a certainn article but there is a image with that same name it may pull that website up and when i go to that site, it doesnt help me at all.
What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?
I like search engines. I utilize then all the time, everyday. As far as my website goes it has assisted me in some ways. The more I post my company name in different places the more it is found. I do not feel it has hindered my website in any way.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
For me the most effective method I have encountered for promoting my site for Reddi Business Solutions has been adding the link to my emails, text messages, on my web pages, and listing my site on different business & search engine websites.
What method has been least successful for promoting your website?
For me I do not see any unsuccessful promoting. Even if you only receive 1 client from a promotion it is always worth it. The more your company name is out there the better the capabilities of success.
What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?
I would like to be able to not have my personal information listed on the internet. I personally do not post my name online for any reason. But I noticed there are sites that offer your name, address, and phone number for a price. I have a private phone number so this information I would assume is being sold by creditors or such and there are companies who list this information and some do it for free. Even though this has assisted a lot of people in finding clients and friends, there are many others who should not have this information and have access to it.
What advice do you have for anyone who wants more web traffic?
Post your site any and every where. Attach it to all of your emails, postcards, letterhead, stickers, anywhere it will be seen.
