Online Steps are a website design company offering individuals and businesses complete web solutions. We use the latest technology and always meet the latest standards as set by the W3C. We build content management Systems and database driven applications aswell as static website, depending entirely on our clients needs. We also offer marketing solutions giving our clients the start they need on the web.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
The Website has been designed to promote our services and to stand as an example of our work. It is validated by the W3C Validator and is accessible by most media types.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first website was Sudbury Community Website I built the site to develop my skills as a web designer. It was a constructive way for me to learn the trade and by offering information and advertising, I was able to monetise the project to fund my learning.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Online Steps was given to the website to show potential clients that we can ease them onto the internet one step at a time making the process pain free and successful.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We compete not only on price but on quality of service. Our quotes stand per project rather than per hour which mean the client is getting great value for money. We also offer a great after-care package ensuring the growth of the client isn't hindered.
What is your ultimate goal?
The ultimate goal for this business is to become a market leader and set higher standards of usability for all consumers regardless of disabilities.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Online Steps is a relativel new business and needs more time to become established in the market place. As we grow, we plan to recruit more designers enabling us to take on more projects and move into profit.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Absolutely. We are setup to deal with a curtain amount of business, if we succeed this amount, we have contingencies in place enabling us to maintain our high standards.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Organic Search Results. Our website is optimised for the search engines. This brings in targetted traffic free.
