WebcamsForAll provides you with webcams all over the world.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Earning a few extra bucks on the side and I always liked the idea of having my own website.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
WebcamsForAll.com, about one month ago.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I wanted to do it about webcams and I just thought of it on the spot.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Mine is easy and fast to use and effective.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Keep it for a slow steady income and other things.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I think it is going to turn out well.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Set up my own webcams all over the world and make sure no other site can steal the webcam links.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I am not sure, probably since I have a lot of time on my hands.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Nothing much at the moment.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Making the site look good and give it a good start to the web.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
This is the only thing i've tried so far.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Little bit harder than I thought.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
About one month, I don't know how long I will keep it going but atleast a year. I will still keep it up for those minority that visit my site if I don't get loads of traffic.
