Supplier of two way radio communications for the home/work - supplying models from Motorola, Kenwood, Icom, Entel, Vertex Standard, Barrett, Tait, Codan, Otto. Supplier of all accessories for all radios including bluetooth enabled earphones. We supply these products to all markets - Europe, Asia, USA, Africa
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Ultimately to sell products online - every company now needs a website of some form or description
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The website was launched 10 years ago but was left to stagnate, we had it re-written and now are in the process of making it better by the month
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It is our company name - it fits the market we are in - communications
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We have all our products online to browse, with downloadable PDF documents, you can book a repair online and view the status and we are the only company in this field to offer Live Chat
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Keep the website but have it as an online shopping cart
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We have always been a busy company providing the military with radios - mainly when there is a war on we do well! Now that the website is bringing in new customers, the future looks promising
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would have all the latest SEO friendly technology, like drag and drop shopping cart, all our products would be updated and we would have a copy writer on hand all the time
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes we would be able to keep up with the demand, we have a full time worker on the product side of the website and a web design/SEO company constantly updating the website

Finding the right company to help our website grow
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Internet, we do no offline advertising, currently
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It is a lot harder than we thought
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We have been running the domain for 5 years and will continue for many years to come, we are not going anywhere!
