To make businesses aware of Smart's holistic sales and marketing service. Smart helps businesses to grow with a measurable ROI by generating fully qualified leads and appointments with telemarketing, data cleansing, profiling and call handling. Smart takes the holistic approach to marketing and has a UK contact centre, established since 1996.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To introduce more businesses to the benefits of the holistic marketing route; to share the benefits of viewing a marketing strategy as a whole. Whereas some companies may invest in a one-off telemarketing campaign, we always try to build a long term relationship with our clients and carefully lead them through the whole process of getting to know their customers better. We also identify new routes to market and establish the real reasons why a customer may not be buying from them. This gives the client invaluable information to enable them to adapt to changing markets. This is done by continual monitoring and profiling of customer data, following up every lead with a trackable audit trail, and finally keeping the client fully informed, in real time, 24/7.

How did you decide on a name for your website?
We are an established UK company and Smart is the trading name of the company. We also feel 'contact' describes what we do best on behalf of our clients - establish good communication between them and their customers - hence the name of the website Smart-Contact.co.uk
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Apart from the marketing services available, clients can log in to the Smart Extranet facility through the website to track the progress of their telemarketing campaigns, in real time, 24/7. This gives them the immediate opportunity to track our progress and to respond to any changes in the marketplace.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep it of course; to continue generating business for Smart and to help companies grow by using our holistic marketing methods.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We believe the website is a highly worthwhile project and it has attracted good business for us.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would invest more time in establishing high quality links.

It hasn't.

The website has been around since 2004 and it is intended to keep it indefinitely to support the company; to attract more organisations to use the Smart holistic marketing service.
