Semi-Directory is the most comprehensive buyers guide and resource center designed specifically for the semiconductor industry. Our mission is simple: to bring customers and suppliers together in one location to provide the greatest amount of resources available to the semiconductor and semiconductor manufacturing fields!
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To provide people working in the semiconductor industry a one-stop-shop where they can find every resource they need.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My dad's company website back in 2001. It was a gas detection company website.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Well, it's a directory for the semiconductor industry so 'semi' and 'directory' went well together!
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
There is no other website offering the range of features and resources on the internet as Semi-Directory.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Being so new, I haven't had any major success stories. Hopefully exposure on this site will help me get there.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would move it over to a SQL database instead of using MS Access.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, it has been designed to be self sufficient. It is almost totally automated and content is generated by the website advertisers.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
learning new coding techniques!
