Name of your website?

bideasi

Your name?

Steve Fouracre

Your Location (city, etc)

London

Please give us a short summary of your website?

New Auction Website Experience Where Buyer And Seller Haggle On Price.

Buyers are NOT charged for normal auction transactions.

Sellers are only charged for successful auctions and are NOT charged for listing items on bideasi.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Realised that eBay and other auction sellers were not satisfied with the service they were being provided with and were eager for a new rival to better the industry.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

www.queuesolutions.co.uk

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I wanted to convey an idea of biding on an auction site that was also easy to use, hence bideasi

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

bideasi allows buyers and sellers to negotiate or haggle on price between 2 price limits, the required price set by the buyer and the guide price set by the seller or bideasi.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep bideasi and become the number 1 auction site worldwide

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We are currently talking to a number of investors

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

This is a company secret

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Most of the site is automated, so there is very little headache created

What has been your biggest challenge?

Gaining funding and exposure

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Featuring on high PR websites

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I expected to have gained market pressence far quicker

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

The site has run in beta version until about 6 months ago for about a further 6 months. We will soon gain funding and so the site will become profitable very soon.

How do you make a successful business

Concentrate time on things that count and reduce on that don't count towards success

What is your website address?

bideasi
