Pure-Light is for people who want quality Handmade soaps and scented soy candles. Lately we've added personalised gifts to our range.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I love candles and fell in love with Soy candles, everything has gradually grown from that.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I love the cleaness and purity of soy candles, natural pure products are the heart of the website so Pure-Light seemed the right choice.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Customisation is the key to what I do. I love being able to tailor my candles to exactly what the customer wants through a wide choice of producys, fragrances and colours.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I would like it to be come a nationally known business, enjoyed by as many people as possible.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Quite well, what you put in you get out I find.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, I would have help so the bigger and quicker the better for me.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Trying to get the range of stock I want has been a problem, but things are always improving
What has been your biggest challenge?
The tecjnical side of the website and SEO has been a bigger challenge than I'd imagined.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It's more demanding, but also more rewarding so everything balances out.
