Started venues.org.uk in April 2005.

Venues.org.uk is a Free Venue Finder for 1000's of UK Venues. Find Venues easily and quickly for wedding venues, conference venues, exhibitions venues, unusual venues and much more.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

The ease in that we can make rapid changes quickly and effectively as we have an excellent in-house team which supports our online products.

Who maintains your website and why?

An extremely efficient and clever in-house Web and Marketing team.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

SEO is key to the success of our website and all our other sites along with their usability as a purely online venue and office party finding service. I have worked in the online SEO/SEM field for seven years and it is a very interesting and rapidly changing area.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

SEO, SEM and Search Engine Promotion.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

Removal of spam sites from search listings.
