When did you start your website and why?

I have working on my site for some time, The reason for starting was to get the message out about a new safe no toxic Eco friendly way to clean carpets. all products are bio based and we are carbon neutral

promotion of a network of bio-eco based carpet cleaners

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

I would have to say Google ranking. its one thing to produce a site but to get its message out is something else.

What has been the easiest part of operating your website?

I would have to say building it with open source pages

What was your biggest mistake?

The hardest is getting Google to rank my site.

Who maintains your website and why?

me, I find that you can trust many so called web master. it much better to learn yourself and be in total control and not be taken for a fool.

Tell us how your business has benefited from your website?

not much at the moment but, the response that i have had has helped sufferers from asthma and those that have Eco concerns at the top of any buying decision

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

We use yellow pages a lot in the past but with search engines you would be amazed at the type of person that use them now. young, old, female, just about any group. one worry is the control that search engine have over your site. and of course adult content is always a worries for us all.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

link exchange its pointless. and what about if your site is a one of a kind. for example our network use a unique product that controls safely the air allergen in an environment. it a first so how does Google see that if a first then it has not link potential, as drug companies don't want prevention that are interested in fixing the problem after

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

very time consuming. life's is to sort to keep up with the ever changing word of search engines. you need to become an expert on them.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

non Internet marketing, as the Internet is a great cheap way to expand your marketing message. for example if you want to put everything that's on your site is any other media it would cost you loads.

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

I would have to say a local site that said that it was top search term for my service but not one call yet.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

all adult content give it own area.
