Please give us a short summary of your website?

The website sells natural bath and body products and is continually evolving as I find new suppliers and the demand from the customer changes.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Originally to compliment a market stall but the website has grown beyond that and the majority of sales come through the site.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first one.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

My product line is more defined than some and my pricing is competitive.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep it for income

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It's taken hours to build a lot of money getting the product right sourcing new products but it's been worth it the sales are picking up and I am getting repeat customers

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would expand my product range and do a lot more promotion.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes I have everything in place for this to happen

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting customers to the site

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

I am using pay per click but I would say word of mouth has been the best,ive noticed once people try my products they do tell there friends.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

More time consuming

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

The site has been running for 2 months,this is a long term project which I do enjoy so it will be growing.

Where is the future in retailing

Society is changing and so is it's shopping trends away from the High Street to online shopping .
