Welcome to the world of autographs. Autograph collecting is one of the most exciting hobbies of all time . To have an autographed item of one of your favourite movie stars is a very personal feeling . Signatures of all types are very collectable especially from the historical field . Autographs can be obtained on almost any kind of material , including documents , books , photographs, paintings , records etc. In my catalogue of signatures for sale there are many common and scarce items . My web-site is updated daily . Payment can be made by cheque or PAYPAL . My business was established in 1987 . Be prepared for a memorable journey into the world of autographs .
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I am doing what I like best . Collecting autographs & selling them as well. Have been doing this since 1987.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first web site was purely text only & launched about 1994 . It contained over 5000 autographs for sale.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
My site name describes what it is.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I update my site every day and try to include hard to find collectable autographs for sale
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I thought maybe I could be different in my offerings . I love working in this business
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It has been fine , but with the internet it has become harder with many more websites to contend with . A lot different to my earlier mail catalogue in the 1980's
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
This is hard as I like it as it is. Maybe offering credit card facilities would help
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes I would
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
My largest headaches have been computer gliches & virus attacks

Understanding computer technology

How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I can spend too much time for average rewards
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have run my site for about ten years & will do for the forseeable future

Yes it has and maybe it will be even better in the future . No regrets
