When did you start your website and why?
We started desinging our website in April 2006 with the aim to promote our diving / water sports attraction

The website has a few flash elements, the rest is HTML, the feedback from is FrontPage, booking calendars and schedules are Excel exports
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
our web hosting company was not able to get the FP server extensions working, after a year we had enough and walked away, our new hosting company is great, Host Department, and also the underwater photos which make up the bulk of the web graphics of the website was quite costly. We have hired one of the most reputable uw-photographers of turkey for a weekend to shoot the pictures.
What has been the easist part of operating your website?
filling it with content
What was your biggest mistake?
we have underestimated a bit the whole subject of SEO (Seach Engine Optimisation) but now we are learning fast
Who maintains your website and why?
We have a IT company in Slovakia, the staff there takes care about the website whenever they find time

allthough the website is quite young, we have had an impressive number of clients who found to us through our website
What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?
ecommerce is great for those who have learnt to implement it, for those who are left behind by the internet revolution though, it is a scary unknown territory
What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
definitively something every with online presence have to care about, however at the beginning when one starts reading in it's difficult to separate the truth from the myths and the tons of false information deliberately spread by unserious SEO companies.
What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?
we target our SEO efforts mainly at Google, we know that Yahoo and MSN should also be considered but that's all what time permits us to do for now.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
registering our tour offerings with sites like hostelbookers.com
What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?
META name=keywords...:-)
it simply isn't worth anymore
