What inspired you to launch your own website?
I created this website resource because I saw a need for a simple, easy to navigate and un cluttered classifieds site for the benifit of Udon Thani residents and visitors.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched my first web site about 5 years ago, it was a site to advertise a property I wanted to sell, my reason was the complete absence of a good classifieds web site for Udon Thani.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I decided on the name udonclassifieds to be as clear as possible and to not mislead in any way.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
udonclassifieds is different in that it a non commercial site purely for the benifit of Udon Thani residents and vistors. The navigation is simple and clear, I do not cover the site in advertising banners or other kinds of clutter, udonclassifieds is Free, no hidden charges or misleading links.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My eventual goal with this website is to achieve as high a rank in the search engines so that the people of Udon Thani will have access to a quality classifieds resource.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Money is not an issue with this web site, the success will be to have the kind of web site that I would like to use available to everyone.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
If I had an unlimited development budget for development I would pay for extra site promotion.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Big demand is not a problem for this type of website, it runs on a very good PHP script and virtually maintains itself, my job of maintenance will be weeding out non Udon Thani related additions and members that abuse the policies of my site.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

What has been your biggest challenge?
Biggest challenge so far has been learning how to implement a PHP script, a great learning experience.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Best method for website promotion is to research SEO on the internet and apply what you have learnt, also be fair and do not mislead people, keep your web site clear and easy to navigate and on topic. These are key features that I condsider essentail for a good web site that will gain popularity and high rankings.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
More enjoyable and intersting than I immagined.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
My site is very new, I went live a week ago, my plan is to run the site forever.
