We provide professional inventory services for homeowners and businesses.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I had the business and know that I needed a website.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I launched my first website in 2000. It was Stevendev Wholesale.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The name is my name.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I am the only one in the West Texas area and I was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

My eventual goal is to hire more employees and open branches in the area.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It's about even.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would go global with my retail store.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, I've been in business since 1997. I know what will work and what won't through trial and error.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

My biggest headache is trying to raise capital.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Raising capital.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Television and the internet.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I have learned how to generate traffic. At first I thought like most people that "if you build it they will come", which is not true.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I just built this website and I'm here to stay.
