Magnetic Listening is a space where business or the private person a can call in for a fee and off load their problems, tell their stories, ask questions.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Working as a coach, healer and medium, most people who came to me just wanted to talk. They wanted to be heard, acknowledged and seen. They did not want to be given tasks or told what to do. So I've created this space for people to feel at home and be themselves.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first website was Mailey.ch a coaching, healing/mediumship platform.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Due to the results and the feedback of my clients. They felt like magnets for positive experiences and positive change as transformations took place in their lives from the listening sessions.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
My website is simple, inviting and easy to navigate.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
M eventual goal is to keep it, be present for the public as I enjoy listening to people and write books.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
AS I just started with this website June 1st 2008, I am very happy with the response and feedback.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would have a VA to help me with my blog have a book page and an interaction page.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, I would be able to keep up with the demand. I plan to bring other professionals on board to form a working community.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Touch wood, my income has been able to cover all costs personal and business wise.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Keeping the blog up todate and all the other additions and changes that need to continuously take place.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth and platforms like this one.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
The caliber of people contacting me. Very interesting people asking for support.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
My site has been online since June 1st 2008. I plan to keep doing this work to the end of my life. There are so many people who are not taken seriously,seen, listened to or acknowledge. I see this am my purpose in life and it is my passion.
How can I serve the world better?
By being present, sincere, empathetic, non-judgemental, caring and respectful every moment of my life.
