The World's largest comprehensive pictorial electronic encyclopedia on Sri Lanka which is an educational and a trade cum business portal on Sri Lanka.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To preserve the great Sinhala indigenous knowledge and culture for our future generations and to introduce these to the international community via the Internet.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
About one year ago. Sri Lanka Almanac.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
A name which would indicate all the contents which are included.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
There is no other which has so much of content and is still in the making.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To preserve the dieing glory of the Sinhala Culture, to let the world know about Sri Lanka, and for any student to get knowledge free of charge from the many subjects which would be included in teh Portal.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Very good
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
A quicker and more comprehensive Web Portal unmatchable in the world, including each & every subject on Sri Laka, Sinhala & Buddhism could be launched.

What has been your biggest challenge?
To travel the country to gather historical data on Sri Lanka
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Via newspaper articles and the Internet itself.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Going well according to expectations as judged by the ranking by Google and Yahoo
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
One year and it would continue forever via a group.
