Please give us a short summary of your website?
The SOULHEALER website strives to share knowledge, understanding and solutions to issues in Life. We entertain a belief, that "There is no Illness, Physical, Mental or Spiritual without a Curative Answer". We have all been designed to heal. If we do not do that, then we need to examine within ourselves, where in life do we work with, and where do we work against ourselves (i.e. the healing process).
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I always understood the power of the Internet.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
That happened in 2002 with the same heading as presently, but it was very small compared to today.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Practically and esoterically. The name needed to say what it was all about and where. The SOULHEALER name came in one of those "vision" formats where the average citizen flaps his hands in that "I don't believe in that nonsense!" gesture.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
That I am not trying to "advertise" or "sell" my services. My intention is to invite, inform and educate. To be there for anyone who needs them and chooses them. People just begin to remember how to heal themselves.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
The SOULHEALER website is there to let people know, that a solution is available for their issue. As healing is my calling and passion, the website is very much a permanent fixture.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
The money investment is acceptable. The enormous time it needs for constant changes (even with having a webmaster!), updates, blogs etc. is an issue.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Not much. I would also employ an IT expert who would know all the complicated processes how Google and others rank the site.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, I can easily involve other healers on a short notice. That would be a great help for many.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
When my service provider stopped my previous unlimited bulk mail facility. Also when the provider drops the line.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Time and technical knowledge.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
That is the problem, I do not know. It is my webmaster who plays around with that part.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
More effort than I initially thought.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
6 years running. Will run it forever!
