Please give us a short summary of your website?

intended to share information about an old tradition in the culture of the Seychelles islands.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

we need to let the world know about our products.And a website is the easiest and modest way.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

infact this is our first web site

How did you decide on a name for your website?

its simple.Island for the fact that the products are coming from the islands and coco is short for coconuts..hence islandcoco

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

its not just a site where you come to buy only but also to learn about the culture of seychelles

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

to keep it and turn it into a great informative site about seychelles

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

i would probably do a couple of great sites and link it all together and the maximum of marketing to get top ranking

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I think so yes if not i will have to get more people to help me with it

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

To actually design an great looking site does not come cheap and its not easy as it seem especially for SEO

What has been your biggest challenge?

to update the site frequently

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Actually im just starting with SEO i hope it will be a success!

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Yes in the beginning i just thought that a website work on its own but it doesn't ..you have to keep it up to date and do a lot of marketing to make it viable.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

About 2 yrs i will try to keep it as long as possible

yes it is.
