What inspired you to launch your own website?
Eksakto.com is an online classified ads site in the Philippines which is growing everyday. We help people promote their business across the country and advertise their products and services for free.

Website was launched last June 25, 2008
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Eksakto.com was named arbitrarilly.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Eksakto.com makes make it very easy to post, delete, edit and track your advertisements. The website is very user-friendly.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our main goal is to bring Filipinos together in one place by providing a free service.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Currently, time & money are winning. I plan on keeping on improving Eksakto.com. The success will come. I've seen some PR improvements and visitor numbers are rising
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would conduct research on how to improve my website.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I would hire very experienced professionals to deal with the issue.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Eventually I have to upgrade to a much expensive host. I hope the hosting service provider won't give me headache.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Inviting people to join the service and promoting my website.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Linking with other related sites and directories.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It takes a lot of time and more patience.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
As of July 8, 2008 Eksakto.com is up and running for about 2 weeks now.
Would you reccommend starting a website to others?
Only if they were willing to invest the time and energy to get the site moving up in the search engines.
