Please give us a short summary of your website?
We offer professional web design for small to medium-sized businesses. All of our services are offered at prices much lower than the competition but we develop websites using the same standards.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We started a company and created our website based on our experience with local businesses and people. We believe that a website is a cornerstone of any business that wishes to mass-market products and services.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
We launched our first website 5 years ago, and it was a private and non-community site for our internal operations. It was used to develop websites for clients based on a distributed home-office system.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We decided on a name based on the two highest-ranking members in the company, Alex Gearhart and Nick Yeager.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We offer services in a manner that helps the client understand exactly what we are talking about. We always keep in budget and never charge hidden fees. Also, we love to help people out, and often go out of our way to satisfy our clients.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our eventual goal is to open our business to new markets and offer new technology services, including business management, financial planning, etc.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We started the business with a budget of $0 and grew from there. We had operated the business on zero-credit for 5 years and counting.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would add more services, such as finanacial planning and business management using the same techniques we use every day to create easy-to-use websites.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, we grow adaptively and creatively based on our demand. We never allow demand to grow to high, and if it does, we are prepared based on our past experience in times of high growth and times of diminishing profits.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None!
What has been your biggest challenge?
Our biggest challenge is keeping up with our website to ensure we always keep the design fresh and amazing. Our design team constantly revises the site to ensure its quality and proficiency.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
The most successful method for promoting our website has been word-of-mouth. Our clients are always satisfied!
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
We run it well and don't have any bad expectations.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We have run the site for two years, and it will continue to stay up indefinitely.
Why do we enjoy web design?
Web design is a creative challenge in every business. As designers, we love the integration that the web offers, and the variety of formats that are available to us to create our masterpieces. We enjoy every minute of the design process and can handle any number of challenges.
