Please give us a short summary of your website?
Organic lifestyle information based on my own organic experiences. I cover organic house, kids, pets, food, recipes and tips for reducing our overall exposure to everyday toxins.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Working from home. Spreading the "good word" of organics.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is my first website.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I am very open about my organic discoveries, although people in my life didn't necessarily appreciate my enthusiasm. My web site allows me to be "openly organic" without annoying people.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I hope my passion for the subject. I believe an organic lifestyle has changed my whole life. My health has improved, my mind has improved, my life has new found excitement that I want everyone to experience for themselves.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep sharing a wealth of information and therefore to secure income.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
When it's your passion those things are secondary.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I like the way my site is developing. I don't know what I would change. Since one of my organic beliefs is simplicity.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes. My time is devoted to my site, right now I work on it 12-16 hours a day.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Learning the technical stuff. Key words, links, html, search engines, etc.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Patience.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Quality links.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I was a total newbie. So I really didn't know what to expect.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
The site is very new so right now I have no plans for stopping anytime soon. It is therapeutic for me to share what I have learned.
