Please give us a short summary of your website?

We specialize in selling used paperbacks and used hardcover books. There are catalogs for each genre that we have books for. You will not find dropshipping here. All of our books are in our possesion.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I have to credit my brother, Ken, for the idea. He suggested I open a book store with the collection I had at the time. This web site is the results of years of reading and collecting books.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Far West Books and Gifts was opened in September 2006.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

If you look on a map the the west coast you will see a tip off the Oregon coast. That is where I am located. It is the most westernly tip on the continental U. S..

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I am particular about condition of my books. Unless it is rare, vintage or very unusual the book must be in very good condition to be sold on my site.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I hope to make this site a second income for now.
