The Active Family Chiropractic and Wellness Centre serves the residents of Mississauga and vicinity. The clinic provides chiropractic care, registered massage therapy and chiropody.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Better exposure to the community about the services that we offer.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This website was launched in 2006.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The domain name of www.wellnesschiropractor.com describes what we espouses in our office: wellness, prevention and pro-active care.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Good question....I'd like to think that we convey a sense of warmth about our office.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our goal will always continue to be serving the public towards better health. We really feel that we're making a difference by educating our patients about what true health is all about.
We'll continue to serve until we can't do it anymore.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
My investment of time and money will hopefully lead to better success- not simply financially, but also towards better patient's care.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I'm pretty happy with how things are going.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I believe so.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Can't think of one off the top of my head.
What has been your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge has been the first year of practice when we were getting the clinic off the ground.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
I have a great web-site designer, who happens to be a patient.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It has done quite well.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I'll run the site for as long as the clinic is in existence.
What is the best thing that has happened to you since you've been in practice?
The best thing is truly the relationships that I've developed. I've met accountant,my bookkeeper my real-estate agent, my martial arts friend, my painter etc...all are patients. I consider myself fortunate to have met some whom I consider friends. Hopefully, in some small part...I've assisted them towards a healthier life.
