What inspired you to launch your own website?
The Whiteline Design website was launched to allow our customers easy access to our employees and products anytime of the day or night.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The Whiteline Design website was launched several years ago.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The name "Whiteline" in Whiteline Design came from the owner's circle track racing experience. When you get to the "Whiteline" you win...so this became the motto and name of the business. We know all of our customers will feel like winners when they get their signs from us.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
The Whiteline Design website is different from other graphics vendors websites in that it offers you a vast library of graphics images to browse. Additionally, we provide a free e-book on how to design an effective sign, and precise installation instructions so that even novices can install vinyl graphics trouble-free.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
We are looking to open a retail store front in the Greater Dayton area soon.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
The capital investment required to start a sign shop is considerable, and to make effective signs, the employees must have a vast amount of graphic design experience.
