When did you start your website and why?
We started the website about a month ago. Ohio Senate Bill 185 has recently changed the way that the mortgage industry works. It is now a 5th degree felony for a mortgage professional to "instruct, coerce, compensate, etc." a licensed or certified appraiser to change their estimate of value. Homeowners don't want to pay for an appraisal that is not going to work for them. Independence Data provides the real estate research for homeowners to know what is selling in their neighborhood. We are NOT an automated service. Each property report is researched by a real estate professional, ensuring accuracy.

IndependenceData.com is a real estate research company servicing Ohio. We provide property reports to assist and empower the homeowner/buyer in the buying/selling/refinancing process. We research all neighborhood sales and provide detail information on up to 30 neighborhood sales. This information empowers the homeowners to make prudent financial decisions.
