Please give us a short summary of your website?
Enjoy competitive dance classes near the beautiful Washington NC waterfront. We offer 2500 sq.ft. of colorful dance space. We also offer private children's birthday parties with a moon walk.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I recently started my dance studio and wanted advertisement.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We live along the Pamlico River and TOP stands for Teams of the Pamlico.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We offer events other than dance throughout the year. All involve children!
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I hope to eventually have competitive teams of all ages.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I am not in this for the money. I am an educator as well, and children are our future.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would build and offer dance classes to those children who can't afford to join.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I would find a way because our children are worth it!
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Right now most of the money is coming out of my own pocket, but I know it will eventually turn around.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Money
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It is new, but I hope to keep it as long as it brings business.
