Please give us a short summary of your website?
Photos of the famous gander river, Photos of Boyd's Cove, Notre Dame Bay, NL where i was born and raised. You can download a couple of original country songs from my website.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To promote my original songs. I'm a country/folk song writer/performer/musician. My favorite pastime is song writing.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched my website about three years ago.It was about friendly photos and original songs.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Most of songs are written from momeries of growing up in a small outport community, Memories from traveling with a country band for many years around Newfoundland and Labrador.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
original songs and photos.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To promote my song writting.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I have had very little success regarding hits to my website. I find website promoting is very expendive. My investment has been very much unbalanced.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I think banners might be a good way to promote a website.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
My website is not a commerical website. It's a promotional venture.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Trying to promote my original songs.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Promotion.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?
disappointment.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
My site has been running for about three years and intend to run it for another three years or more.
