Retirement Review provides important information on where people can retire to. Discussions about the best places to retire as well as reviews of certain international retirement homes/communities, assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To provide accurate and important information for a growing aging population in North America looking for alternatives to staying at home.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The web site was launched more than 2 years ago. The main objective was to create a portal website/blog that allows people to submit reviews and their comments about the best places to retire and destination travel for retirees.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Very easy as it is descriptive and is based on the content of the site.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Retirement Review encompasses all of the types of housing that are important to the retired community and elderly that include nursing homes, assisted living and master planned retirement communities in the US, Canada and Internationally. In addition, the web site will be further expanded to destination travel for those who are retired in addition to senior products.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

No money is involved, just volunteers providing information and their time.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would certainly add a forum into the web site and have more contributing writers.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting more information from contributing writers.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Search engines thus far.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
No.
