When did you start your website and why?
About 2 years ago for the family buisiness. Main reasons for starting it is to advertise and create an online store to make it easy for people to buy our products.

C. Howard Company., Inc is a candy manufacturing company started in 1930. Known for its unique flavored candy.
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
Finding the time to do it. I find the graphics to be difficult and very time consuming.
What has been the easist past of operating your website?
Assuming you mean easiest part??? It would be creating it. Getting it out on the web is hard to do. Promotion is expensive.
What was your biggest mistake?
Pouring money into advertising without researching my options.
Who maintains your website and why?
Myself for now, I work for the family based company and it keeps costs down.
Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?
Its a good way to reach out and for people to reach us, that have never known we ever existed.
What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?
I think its a very powerful tool. I beleive it is a new way to shop for what you need and want, plus its very easy to do. With most people having fast paced life styles, ordering products online is certainly a thing of the future.
What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
Very important, search engines are a way for people/customers to find our companies website.
What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?
I would say they have only helped our site, although still working on the urls ranking, I think its worth setting up.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
So far, I think the text ads are helping get us traffic. Image or banner ads are best I think, but very expensive.
What method has been least successful for promoting your website?
I think that exchanging links with other sites was the least successfull.
What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?
Perhaps easier ways to sell your products. Also more affordable ways of advertising.
