Please give us a short summary of your website?

it is about passenger transport for typical uses such as for weddings, airport pickups and transfers, group tours and parties (ie hens and bucks nights).

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I would like to increase sales and revenue by people finding me on the internet. My business is potentially useful for anyone looking to visit Australian (Sydney). So attracting peoples attention even though they may be on the other side of the world is important to my business.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

about 1 year ago and this site is it.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

it is basically a call to action as my business is called VIP Higher Car Services. So the domain name tells them to "book me" hence bookvip.com.au

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We focus on the more top end users so we have a more quality site and products from the general run of the mill type business

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep for income.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

at the moment, there is a lot more time going in than profits coming out. But its growing nicely and cannot complain.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

i'd add a forum page and have more functionality for online automated bookings.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

none. i knew of all costs that i had to end up paying for.

What has been your biggest challenge?

raising capital.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

google adwords.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

yes, but for the better.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Not really sure on that one, as it never entered my mind.

Do you find late night internet searching and long quizzes tiring?

yes - most definitely! heee
