When did you start your website and why?
I started my site in December, 2006. I wish to start a business so that when I retire in a few years (hopefully sooner) I won't need to go on a pension.
Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc
My site gives information on a specific dog breed, the Corgi. It gives details of the Corgi's origin, health, temperament etc. I also have a range of quality dog products which are supplied by a very old and well respected manufacturer/wholesaler in Melbourne.
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
Because I was basically computer illiterate 12 months ago, everything is difficult and a website is a new ball game. However, I am learning.
What has been the easist past of operating your website?
Having a good site builder who answers questions promptly.
Who maintains your website and why?
I do with the help of sitecreatorplus.
Tell us how your business has benfited from your website?
It hasn't as yet. I am still working on that area.
What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?
I am currently studying ecommerce through a mentoring programme and enjoy it. It is extremely detailed and sometimes confusing. I think the future of the internet is enormous and feel confident that if I do things correctly then I will succeed.
What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
Extremely detailed and somewhat confusing. It is also very time consuming.

I am yet to find out.
