Your name?

Edgardo G. Calansingin

Your Location (city, etc)

1511 Cinnaminson Ave., Cinnaminson, 08077, USA

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Dare & Live With Books is a promoter of Dare & Live, the tale of an incredible World War II Survivor who created a guerrilla army to battle the Japanese after the battles for Bataan and Corrigedor were lost.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

To distribute copies of Dare & Live in the Philippines.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Dareandlive.com was launched in 2004.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It as named after the title of the book.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

This book is a historical accounts of events in Negros Islands, Philippines during World War II, not found in any library anywhere in the Philippines and elsewhere.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To sell to as many book lovers.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Success came not only in monetary but satisfaction that the book about what happened in Negros Islands, Philippines during World War II came into publication and promotion in the webs.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

The book could have been distributed to every library in the Philippines.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

The demand can be filled up no mater how large.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

There is not much except of the probable costs if I were to hire publicists and book promoters.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Marketing of the book world-wide.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Thru effective search engines.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Running a website helps in the promotion of my book in addition to the promotion of other booksellers like, Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, Indigo.Chapter Canada and many other websites.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Three years and I'll run for as long as I am healthy.

Do I incur expenses in running the website?

I do not incur much expenses except for hostings.

What is your website address?
