Please give us a short summary of your website?
Zip Pneumatics manufactures, installs, services, and maintains pneumatic tube systems for businesses and hospitals.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We wished to extend our brand recognition as well as provide a pneumatic tube system solution that we think is truly the best for the price.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
We launched our first website back in approximately 2000 and it was a good start. However, we have adapted it over time and made it into the website we have today.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Zip Pneumatics is the name of the company and our name is how people recognize our brand of tube system and website.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We offer a tube system that uses air operation instead of gears and motors that put grease and oil in the air. This is not a good solution for hospitals and not a healthy one for any facility. By using pneumatics, we get the same fast transportation needs met without adding extra chemicals into the air. We are also very competitive in pricing and always maintain our prices. We do not suddenly raise our prices once a system is installed in your facility like a lot of other pneumatic tube system companies.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our goal is to become the leading pneumatic tube system in the US and we cannot do this without providing top quality pricing and service to our customers.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Zip Pneumatics has been consistently growing, especially over the last 3 years and we are ready to take on well over $1 million worth of work.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would add all kinds of drawing technology to allow architects and engineers as well as other customers to be able to download our parts into any kind of format that they would need. We know our equipment is the best, but we also know that building a website for the customer is our biggest concern. We would rather have a great site to navigate around than a cool site but poor to navigate.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, we would definitely be able to keep up with the demand.
