Our selection of highly scented soy candles, scented jar candles, unique scented chunk candles, traditional scented candles, aromatherapy candles, scoopable tarts and warmers will fill your home with the scents of memories.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I have a fascination with the connection between fragrances and memories and a love of scented candles. Using different scented candles can change moods and evoke memories from the past.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched this website in November 2008 and it is my first website.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
That's easy, because I like the delightful scent of candles.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
These are very beautiful and unique scented chunk candles and they have a wide variety of fragrances.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I want to keep this website for income and eventually have enough income to launch other websites.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Right now I am upside down. I have invested a lot of time and money, but have not seen much success, as of yet.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would spend more money on promoting this website, but since I have a marketing budget of $0, I have to do the work myself.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Absolutely, I am pretty good at time management.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
With building the website I have had some headaches. I am not a web designer, so I have had a steep learning curve. I have had some problems with the website and have had to hire contractors to help me fix those problems.
What has been your biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge was actually building the site, but additionally getting my site submitted to directories has been another challenge.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
The method I use is dogged determination. I spend time every day submitting to directories, writing my blog, and submitting to articles.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I has been more time consuming than I originally expected.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I began building the site in August 2008 and launched it in November 2008. I will continue to run the site for......?

Absolutely, it has been a lot of work, but it has been extremely fun and enjoyable!
