Please give us a short summary of your website?

Our website shows all of the different services that we provide. Our unique approach to helping small businesses proves a valuable service to our customers looking to lower their costs and gaining an excellent service provider.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I believe that most businesses consult the web before making purchase decisions. This is why we offer to educate our customers in the business. An informed customer is our best customer.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Well this is our first website for our business but our design is done in house. My first website ever was on AOL hosted servers and it was just some personal web page. That was the start of the webdesing bug for me. But we help our customers with getting websites set up for their business also, so we are constantly doing some design for someone.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

That’s funny you ask. We tried to think of something that with one word explained what we did. We named our business Plastech Solutions because Plastech is very close to plastic, which is what ATM's and credit card machines accept. We also repair many ATM, credit card terminals and POS equipment in house so we do a lot of TECH work. We thought we were original in the naming but after it was all said and done we realized there were about 40 companies named Plastech, some of which had headquarters within a few miles of us.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

I like to think we offer a wider range of services than our competitors. We specialize in getting new businesses up and running and existing ones save money on services. Everyone likes to save money.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Our main goal is to make our customers love us and have a company to pass along to our children’s children.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Well being a business owner sure takes a lot of time but the payoff in the end is huge.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We would definitely become more interactive and automated with our customers. Allowing them to log on and basically set themselves up with as little intervention as possible.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Are you telling me its not big now?

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

That list is long. You can't plan for everything but if you plan for the unplanned you are definitely a step ahead.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Staying within the marketing budgets.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth from our existing customers has done wonders for us.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Running the website has definitely been a lot more work than I expected. That's for sure.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I think the site will stay up forever with facelifts, adjustments and new content and features added over time. It is really just a service for our existing and potential customers to see what we bring to the table in a business sense.
