hackmoris is about technology, especially Information Technology in Mauritius, and also about Mauritius in general and entertainment.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

To share my passion for IT and to inform about technology in Mauritius which is aiming to become a "cyber island".

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Mauritius is known as "Maurice" in French and "Moris" in mauritian creole. And to make it IT related, i added the "hack" to it and it was hackmoris.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

As from February 12 2008, my site has been up for less than 1 week.
