We maintain our own website using third party software. We decided to use a customizable solution because of the costs to create one from scratch.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

We are a consumer e-commerce site so we generate most of our revenues from online sales.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

As the barriers to entry to sell on the web become lower and lower, I see a lot of individuals putting up sites that generate millions of dollars in anual revenue, but not making anything as far as profit. I feel this is destroying margins for legitimate businesses. I think a lot of legitimate companies with strong web prescenses may fall because of it.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

SEO is a difficult concept to get a hold on. Things that work today don't work tomorrow in optimizing your site. Things change without notice.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

We generate most of our site traffic through search engines either with free listings or PPC. It is an invaluable component for an Internet retailer.

PPCs

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

We have done some print advertising including full page adds that did very little to help generate traffic.
