What inspired you to launch your own website?
We are both avid fitness fans, and one day while searching the web about a supplement, all we found we sites advertising their particular supplement, so we decided to make a web site that was about real information on a wide range of Fitness, Health, Supplement, Bodybuilding, Weight Loss, Dieting, Yoga and Beauty topics

This is our first web site, we launched it on September 27th 2007
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Free information about getting inform physically....so INFORM 4 FREE
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
MAinly that we are not endorsing brands of products but rather offering just straight up information.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To create a knoledge base on the web that can be used and accessed by anyone who truely wished to get inshape
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Honestly, it would be nice to make some side change out of this. Both members of the inform team love surfing and scuba diving, be nice to make enough for a short trip once a year or so.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I think I would promote the site so that it was easier to find, for people who are after information.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Same way I approach everything in my life, by putting in the time and effort required to make it work!
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Mainly learning how to author a website, also, trying to promote it and being caught up in the race with all thoe spammers and the like, it really is a learning curve this internet thing...hehe
What has been your biggest challenge?
again promoting the site has been hard, but also sifting through so many articles that are solely about promoting a product rather than real information, that takes a lot of time and effort.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
So far people who have seen our site and liked what they have seen enough to tell others about it, Huge thanks to those people we will keep trying to delivery what we set out to do.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
The time involved in setting up a quality website, was a shock! there are so many slapped together sites out there that we really wanted ours to look and more importantly be professional.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
