To sell personalised email addresses. We can give Companies, individuals or families their own address on the web. If you want your own personalised, cherished, unique email address, then we can get it for you.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I knew I could provide the service and I knew that people were wanting the service. Also, a lot of people didn't think it was possible for them to get their own personalised email address.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
A long time ago. It was a website for the local motorbike club of which I was a member. It allowed us to communicate re meetings and events.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I needed something relatively catching, descriptive, unique for .co.u, and for .com.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We want to be unique to the Northern Ireland small business. We are locally based and can provide the service at a very economical price. We have a vast experience of providing a quality product with Customer Service second to none.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To maintain a sustainable business. To work in partnership with our clients. To live up to our goal of "delivering excellence, sharing success".
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We all work to a plan. Everything is well researched beforehand and cost-justified.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We probably wouldn't change the site at all! We would simply spend more money promoting it.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes. Oh yes. That's the plan! We have a business which will enable us to expand with demand. We can cater for extremely fast, exponential growth and are ready for that to happen.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Nothing really. We had attended programmes for starting new business and nothing so far has been unexpected.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting established. Being a new business, it is difficult.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
So far, we have had best results through the Google search engine.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
We did enough research that nothing has bee too surprising so far.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
This particular site has only been running since November 2007. We intend keeping it going for as long as it attracts customers - which means we hope that it will be here for a long, long time.
