General independent news platform that includes a direct news input system covering over 70 countries and additional categories. News can be filed by registered users or for guests and it is free to join and use.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
After working for over 30 years in journalism and operating my own independent news supply service I chose to develop it on the Internet

How did you decide on a name for your website?
It seemed apt, news - media - news, and was also meant to be the news behind the news. In fact I registered "newsmedia" just a few seconds after the same name was also registered by a US concern, so I opted for newsmedianews
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Total independenceand managed by a widely experienced news reporter/editor
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

It didn't - I had no expectations

Been on-line for 3535 days and wil continue as long as I can
Would I be tempted to sell it?
Only on conditions - the right price and the site must remain true to its original ideal, wo I would need to retain an effective executive chief editorship
