When did you start your website and why?
This website is my 4th. It just got online May 6th, so of course it's not indexed yet. I've experimented with others since 1995. I've tried to figure out what people are looking for, and then provide that service, or just followed my passions. Everyone wants to live the dream of working at home, you know yourself how much traffic,searches, and scams are out there. I'm disabled and really need the extra income. It's a challenge to me to learn SEO and different applications, especially when I'm using a computer that crashes periodically and a dial-up ISP.

Angry Mad Rant.com is a whim. I got the idea from hearing a news blurb about a man that built a website about confessions, and he very shortly got over-run with a million visitors a month. Another example is the kid that made a million dollars selling pixel space. Angry Mad Rant is a place where anyone can type out and submit their anger for ONE dollar. Expressive writing is an excellent anger management tool that can help a person heal without hurting anyone else. It is used by therapists, and has been proven to be beneficial to a person's health. My website is far superior that a one-way blog, where you read about one person's feelings. You have the choice to just read the posts, post a rant yourself, or comment on another's post.
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
My computer, software, and ISP. At the moment I will have to enter each post after the donation/payment is confirmed. With the package I have, I can add a guestbook or forum to my website, but it's got things in it I don't want, specifically a field for the poster's email address, and it won't submit the post without it. I don't want that field. I know the scammers will get the emails of my visitors, and my visitors may not post if they HAVE to put in their email. I don't know too much about cgi, don't know if I can go ahead and put it on the website, then get into changing the html. Stressed and brain dead right now, I've worked on it for 3 days, and will have to get back to it at another time.
Equally as difficult with the package has been updating or changing content on the website. It's probably my computer and system, so I don't want to blame the server. Run with java, one step may take anywhere from 4 to 7 minutes. Ye-ha, that takes a lot of patience!

There has not been an easy part.

Me - obviously I can't afford any help.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
So very important. I don't think that you can ever quit learning, especially when the search engines periodically change their practices or perimeters.
What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?
Personally, I think they have too much power. If you can't get indexed, you're doomed. Way too much power. The big "G" and "Y" and "D___" seem to crush the little people that don't have money to advertise. They have helped my previous websites, so I don't want them blacklisting me.

Spammers and Scammers. Find a way to get rid of them.
