When did you start your website and why?

We started the website in 2005 to offer travelers throughout Iowa the opportunity to find those places that may not be "front of mind" locations that have a great deal to offer. Sites that are well know are also listed, but we wanted to drive visitors to the state to those places they may not have heard of before when they have visited the more familiar ones.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

The site is actually a great place to find out information for anyone visiting any area of the state. It gives a slection of different things to see and do while giving directions, phone numbers, hours of operation and a clear understanding of what the location is, does or shows.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

The most difficult part was gathering all the information for the whole state and getting it entered.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

The ease of adding attractions.

Who maintains your website and why?

We do because we can.
