Northshore Process Service Interview

By Interviewer at 02/19/08 00:20

Name of your website?

Northshore Process Service

Your name?

Jorge Zias

Your Location (city, etc)

Chicago

Please give us a short summary of your website?

This web site provides information on legal support services, particularly process service.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

The web master we hired convinced us of the benefits.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

We launched in 1996 and it was an earlier version of our current online presence.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We left that up to our intellectual property attorneys.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We are more comprehensive and cater to a more diverse and international clientele.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Our goal is to empower people to make informed decisions.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We let our management team specialize in puttin to use their well deserved MBAs.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We are exploring the possibility of taking out highway billboard ads.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

We are keeping up now and hiring more staff every few months.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Like any big company, we have had development obstacles, government red tape and time constraints.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Probably it has been getting enough multi-lingual staff to keep up with our international markets.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

It has been due to long-term contracts and on-line orders from these clients and their referrals.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

We now let a team of webmasters and a lead webmaster handle these tasks.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Again, we now let a team of webmasters and a lead webmaster handle these tasks.

What is your website address?
