Printing Directory has tons of sources for all your printing needs. Great articles and updates on the printing industrial as well.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I was actually looking to print tee-shirts. Liked the website and got to know the owner.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first website was a bogus survey website. I never sold one package but learned so much! I think I paid around $20 for the website, it was a cheap education.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Printing Directory - Pretty clever huh? Acutally it says what it is, just trying to keep it simple
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Very niche market, few websites have depth of resources in the printing industry.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I like the web marketing business and it could be run from anywhere.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I have other businesses so all together I do pretty well, its been fun.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I have so many idea's for fun websites, would be nice to have an unlimited budget to get them going.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Absolutely, service is king
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
So far, down servers hurt the most.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Building traffic, it takes time and I'm not the most patient person.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth and giving away free stuff.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Exceeded all of them!
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I've been a webmaster for about six months. Looks like the future is bright.

Being with my children and getting away from the computer!
