Please give us a short summary of your website?

My website is about asia news, I try to bring the latest news from asia on my website. Not everything offcourse but only the main headlines and things of which I think deserve some extra attention.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

A friend of my owns http://www.worldnewschannel.info and offered me to start my own newschannel on a subdomain of his website.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

A few months ago, this is my first website.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

That was easy, I had to keep the main domainname in the title but it was no problem for me.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I try to make it different to give it a personal touch, that is why I select the news items of which I think deserve some extra attention

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Can not answer that question yet, I just started. Maybe in the next interview?

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would make it much more proffesional, higher people to write more content and special stories on certain topics.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

yes I think that would be the least of my worries actually.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Chmods on my webserver!

What has been your biggest challenge?

Finding good relevant news for my website.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

The HK directory offcourse!

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

So far it all sums up my expectations. I get some good responses to!

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

As I told earlier I just started, I am now working some statistics software to track all the traffic that comes to my website.
