A web site intended for the English Speaking community who would like to watch English TV

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Unable to find anybody able to supply and Install English Sky TV in Greece.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

August 2007 www.skygreece.tv

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It seemed the most relevant name for somebody offering to install Sky TV in Greece

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Skygreece.tv is actually based in Greece. the other web sites who supposedly offered to supply Sky TV were based in other countries then told you that once they supplied the equipment you then needed to find your own installer.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To keep the web site and hopefully keep busy installing English TV

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I don.t know yet, only just started out.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Improve the image and ranking of the web site.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I don't think that there are that many English speaking people in Greece. I suppose the answer is yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

I was unaware just how complicated and difficult it would be to get a web site up and running if you don't use computers very much.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Trying to understand the terminology and acronyms that the computer industry uses. It is not the English language as I understand it.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Not sure yet.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Didn't realise it would be so time consuming.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
