It's not a business, just marketing my home.

Fantastic! Love it. But...It's probably going to control our lives more, we are all turning into "net junkies" and loving it.
What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
Difficult to keep up with the changes in spider/bot rules and regs.
What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?
For a small website like this it's difficult to find value with SE's.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
So far a posting on Craigslist has drawn the most visits.
What method has been least successful for promoting your website?
Google...tough to compete with the larger sites without paying for ads that don't payoff.
What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?
More mobility, cheaper satellite link rates.
