What inspired you to launch your own website?
I been building sites for the past 10 years and always wanted to do a site like this, I finally made it a reality

10 years ago, my first website was about Navy Seals.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It kind of just came to me and the last 4 site prior to this site had the word "Project" in them Friend Project just seemed to work.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We take many of the features of sites similar to ours and combine them all into 1 great site.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Right now it is just to make it as big and good as possible, I continue to work on the site full time daily to enhance and improve it.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Right now it's deffinately a hobby and doesn't really cover the hosting fees yet but it's getting better =)
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would be able to promote it much more, I have a lot of time and money invested already, I just need for the world to see it now!
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I would try my hardest, I think I would pull though and make it work with all my experience.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Servers not being able to handle the load of users I had at first but we got it settled now on dual server setup.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Coding the site for maximum performance.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth, users join the site and love it, they then invite there friends to come join them on it.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It's taken a lot more time and money then I ever expected.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
The site has been up for 8 months now and I expect it to do better in the future so I am planning and hoping for the best.
Whould you do it all over again if you had to?
In a heartbeat!
